    Going through a divorce

I was a fool, for 10 years. I thought I had a perfect husband. I thought God had sent him to me and he was my soulmate. I loved this man. I still love this man. We married after dating for 3 years and living together for 1 year, 4 years total....

I did everything for this man. I never wanted another. Never talked to another. Never looked at another. I worked all the time because he told me to. He said we needed the money... it was true.... we didn't make alot of dinero. Then one Friday night I came home from work and he wasn't home. I found him up the street at his sisters house...... alone with another woman. My dream world came crashing down on me. I lost it. I was a MESS! I had GOD to get me through. We seperated for two weeks. He came back home, saying that he didn't feel right about what was going on. GOD had answered my prayers!

He never apologized. He was withdrawn. He seemed angry at times. He never wanted to talk.

One week before Christmas, he told me he wanted a divorce and left me and our three kids. Thats all I want to put here right now. I will add to my space later. I've had a bad day, today. I'm angry, hurt, sad and desparate, and was looking for a way to vent.

    Fighting temptations

Obviously, some people don't know how to fight temptations. Angie, my FORMER coworker, apparently  has been having sex in the shower rooms at work with the truck drivers. According to Jennifer, Angie  ran off with one who wanted to put her up in a motel room in Tennessee, so he could visit her "as needed".  The search is on for a new 3rd shifter......

    My job at the circus

Not a real circus... just reminds me of one sometimes. Let me tell u about my coworkers.

First of all there is Vikki. She is my best friend. She is always calm.

Then there is Joy.............. about 70 years old. She wants to be the boss and tell everyone how to do their job. She has never worked in our line of work before... she shouldn't be working there now. She likes to sit and read books while others wait on customers. (I wish I could get paid for reading books).

Brad.... mid 30's, suspicious character. I think he's stealing cigarettes, gas and other items. He likes to stand around and get paid for it. When I tell him to go home, he whines that he doesn't want to go home to his wife and then I have to listen for an hour about how much he hates his wife. He pinched one of the girls that works with us on her butt one night.

Angie.... late 20's. Cute, blond, country girl who has been married 3 times already. She got married this past May and has already filed for divorce. She likes to flirt with the truck drivers and all other customers. Brad pinched her butt and she told the boss....

Jennifer..... 30ish. Has a sloped forehead, never smiles, never feels good.

Pat.... nice christian lady, 60's, working two jobs to pay medical bills for her terminally ill husband. Works TOO HARD. God bless her. Always has a smile on her face.

Karla......... 30, California blond with drawn on eyebrows that are too dark and too fake looking and has acne complection. Takes a smoke break every 15 minutes and a hit off the asthma pipe every 20 minutes. Likes DARK men, and is desparate to find a husband. Good luck!

Shannon.... 30ish. Maybe the only one there besides me and Vikki who has much walking around sense. Cute. Knows EVERYTHING (she thinks)!

Mary.... 400lb 30 something who is too bossy and thinks she knows everthing! My friend Vikki turned down the assistant position, so the boss was desparate to train someone. She asked Mary after everyone else said no.... Mary thinks she got asked because she is the only one capable. She has already got on the bosses nerves so bad that the boss is ready to fire her. Scarfs down Krispy Kremes in a second. Broke the office chair.

Derinda... the boss. Sweet, soft spoken lady.

    Riverfest hotties

There were plenty of hot bodies at Riverfest this year, including Norma, the winner of The Booty booty booty booty rockin everywhere shake-a-thon. Don't say Alabama doesn't have style.........

Believe it or not she only had a jacket on, unbuttoned with no top or bra....... Watch out Janet Jackson, this is NO wardrobe malfunction! She tried to get help from this man passing by to put her nipple rings back in. But his hands were full and he couldn't reach that far down.

My son..... and the whores who stalk him

My oldest son is 14. Blaize is his name. He plays football and basketball at school and is a nice looking kid.

Three weeks ago, I bought him a Kawasaki Ninja to ride to Football practice and to school when it starts back. Now everytime I look out my window there are different girls in my yard or hanging out in front of my house waiting for Blaize to ride up. Girls who don't look 14. HUGE breasts........ butt cheeks hanging out of their shorts. And the way they look at him.......... (gag). I have a bb gun....... and I have thought about hiding in the bushes and taking aim. Maybe paintball guns would be more effective...... they don't want to ruin their clothes! My husband laughs when I bring this topic up, but I'm serious!

I have pulled up pics on the net of what sexual diseases will do to you and made Blaize look at them. And the youth group at church is a positive one............ But I can never be to careful! I'm thinking of putting an electric fence around our property.

    My ridiculous bi polar family

My brother, who is one year older than me, should get a question mark tattood on his forehead. He is lazy.... hasn't worked since 1995, and relies on his wife, who works and goes to school full time, to support him and their two kids. She buys him all the latest PS2 games and Xbox games, and adds to his huge cd collection.

When we were kids, he used to shove my face into the ground and not let me up until I ate grass. He used to black my eyes on the school bus while his loser friends laughed.

About 9 years ago, his wife left him because she was tired of his crap.... (ie, not working and drinking all the time). He cried like a baby and fell to pieces in front of everyone. He promised he'd get a job and she came back (mostly out of pity). She is a good woman and deserves a man who cares enough to support his family.

8 years ago, at Christmas, he went to my mothers house and demanded she give him money as his gift. She had already bought gifts for them and didn't have any money to give as a gift. He cussed her out and has refused to talk to her since. He won't even let his kids see her.

Mom wrote him a letter on his birthday and sent him and his daughter a birthday card (he has the same birthday as his daughter). That was this year.... the first attempt at trying to come to peace. He sent her a letter back telling her he has no memory of her and told her what a piece of crap she was.

When I got married, I had asked all my nieces and nephews to be in the wedding. My mom was going to pay for the dresses but when my brother found out he said no and uninvited his family to the wedding.

Last year, after making several attempts to call him to see how they were doing, and not getting an answer or a call back (i'm talking MONTHS of trying to call... YES they have caller ID) I emailed him. No email back...... so I emailed him and told him he was a lazy as shole. He returned my email with a F U.... ur not my sister anymore.

So its been a year and a half since that..... yes, I'm tired of trying to keep the lines of communication open. He is a good for nothing and I refuse to cater to his lazy craziness.

Well, my dad called today. He said he was visiting my brother and wanted to know if we could drive up so he could see us. My brother lives an hour away... my dad is further than that, so our schedules hardly work out to visit much. So I decided to go so we could see my dad.

We were there about 30 minutes when my brother started talking about issues that he knew would get an arguement started. I spoke up with a few FACTS and he got pissed and stomped off to his room and slammed the door... like a kid! My husband and kids were outside with my dad when that happened. His wife was in the living room with me. She apologized. She shouldn't have.... not for him. I love her and the kids but I can't understand why Ewayne Austin is so crazy! He needs medication. So do I but at least I acknowlegde that! LOL!

Well....... I'm back in my town... shopping about 2 hours later and my mom calls. She asks if I'm ok. ??????
She said my sister called her and told her that I got into it with my brother. ?????????? How did she know? And we didn't GET INTO IT... He made a comment, I stated the FACTS and he runs in his room and slams the door.... end of story!
But according to my sister he made up a few things to make it sound like I got pissed over a joke....So he called her to get her on his side. SIGH....................... He's 35......... going on 12!

    Da Vinci Code

The Da Vinci Code movie will be released this weekend. The movie follows the book which has sold 40,000,000 copies worldwide. It is sure to generate tremendous interest.

The Da Vinci Code distorts the life of Christ.

The book and movie make several false claims: That Jesus and Mary Magdalene were man and wife. That the New Testament is false testimony. That there were 80 gospel accounts of Christs life. That the Roman emperor Constantine gave us the New Testament. That the divinity of Jesus is an invention of fourth-century church leaders at the Council of Nicea.

While the book and movie claim to be based on fact, they clearly are not. Tragically many people, even Christians, will go away believing that the book and movie are factual.

    --DaVinci Code

The movieThe Da Vinci Code staring Tom Hanks, directed by Ron Howard will soon be released in the first part of this year. This movie will have the potential to deceive billions of the worlds population. The story line attacks the very heart of the Gospel and attempts to destroy the very nature and character of the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God. (Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against His anointed? Psalm 2:1, 2)

Satan knows his time is about up and now he will attempt to take one of his best shots by enlisting all of hell to belch out its worse deception in that of stripping Jesus Christ of His Divine nature and turning him into a mere man who secretly marries Mary Magdalene.  To add insult to injury the story depicts the idea that certain shadowy Christian groups for 2,000 years have purposely and secretly hidden this so called fact  behind the scenes and thus it is finally revealed in a coded message buried in Leonardo Da Vincis painting.   Even the movie trailer for this story presents it as the truth finally revealed about Jesus!  (this is just what the Islamic Fascists need to give added credence to their bloody, destructive campaign of global terror!)

It is time for Christians (the Body of Christ) everywhere to rise up and expose this lie from the pit of hell that will be perpetuated on the whole world in just a couple of short months.  This is no time to back down in the day of battle.  It is a time to pray and fast like never before that God will raise up a standard against the enemy as he comes in like a flood.  Satan always overplays his hand and once again he is about to overplay it big time because as usual he overplays it right into Gods plan to present the truth to the whole world. And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come Matthew 24:14

Oswald Chambers states in his timeless writing My Utmost For His Highest Our calling is not primarily to be holy men and women but to be proclaimers of the Gospel of God. The one all-important thing is that the Gospel of God should be recognized as the abiding reality  Yet we have to ask ourselves today when this abiding reality comes under direct attack who will defend it?  The answer can only be that those of us who have been transformed by its truth for eternity will and must defend it here and now.

Pray that Christian lay people, prayer leaders, writers, pastors, and all those in Christian media outlets will get the message out and expose this deception of hell and reveal the lie this movie will present before it ever hits the theaters.

We can only say about Tom Hanks & Ron Howard Father forgive them for they know not what they do

    Warning! Swiffer Wetjets!

    --PLEASE READ

Recently someone had to have their 5-year old German Shepherd dog put down due to liver failure. The dog was completely healthy until a few weeks ago, so they had a necropsy done to see what the cause was.

The liver levels were unbelievable, as if the dog had ingested poison of some kind. The dog is kept inside, and when he's outside, someone's with him, so the idea of him getting into something unknown was hard tobelieve.
My neighbor started going through all the items in the house.

When he got to the Swiffer Wetjet, he noticed, in very tiny print, a  warning which stated "may be harmful to small children and animals." He called the company to ask what the contents of the cleaning agent are and was astounded to find out that antifreeze is one of the ingredients. (actually he was told it's a compound which is one molecule away from antifreeze).

Therefore, just by the dog walking on the floor cleaned with the solution, then licking it's own paws, it ingested enough of the solution to destroy its liver.

Soon after his dog's death, his housekeepers'  two cats also died of liver failure. They both used the Swiffer Wetjet for quick cleanups on theirfloors. Necropsies weren't done on the cats, so they couldn't file a law suit, but he asked that we spread the word to as many people as possible so they don't lose their animals. This is equally harmful to babies and small children that play on the floor a lot and put their fingers in their mouths a lot.

PLEASE, EVEN IF YOU DO NOT HAVE BABIES, SMALL CHILDREN OR OWN A PET,
    PLEASEFORWARD THIS ON!

    College in my plans!

I am thinking of starting school at a local University in the fall. I'm going to check into online classes. It may be hard to get all my classes online so I'm sure I'll have to attend classes on campus. As a 34 year old married mother of three, I'm looking for feedback from people in similar situations.... how difficult or easy it was (is) for you. Did you work while going to school?

I currently work 40 - 50 hours a week. I don't know how that would work out while being a student and trying to hold down the family.

I'm also at a loss as what to major in! I'm planning on visiting the university and talking to counselors... but I don't know how to narrow down my choices..... Will PRAY!

Just let me know your story and how you dealt!

    The 5 finger Prayer

5 finger prayer a part of our lives.

    1. Your thumb is nearest you. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones  is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a "sweet duty."

    2. The next finger is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes t eachers, doctors, and ministers.  They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction. Keep them in your prayers.

    3. The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders. Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God's guidance.

    4. The fourth finger is our ring finger. Surprising to many is the fact that this is our weakest finger; as any piano teacher will testify.  It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain. They need your prayers day and night. You cannot pray too much for them.

    5. And lastly comes our little finger; the smallest finger of all which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others. As the Bible says, "The least shall be the greatest among you." Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself. By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively.

--7 Myths that Hurt Young Women

Myth 1  –  How I dress is my business.
It shouldn’t be a concern for God or guys. Before you believe that your wardrobe isn’t an issue with God, try this scripture on for size: Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to sin are bound to come, but woe to that person through whom they come. It would be better for [her] to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around [her] neck than for [her] to cause [another] to sin.” (Luke 17:1-2)  Every Man's Battle

When guys see something sexually stimulating, such as a young woman dressed immodestly, their natural tendency is to lust after her and entertain thoughts of becoming sexual with her. It doesn’t matter whether the guy is a Christian or not. Even godly guys can be visually tempted to lust. If you want to avoid causing your brothers to stumble and fall, you’ll dress modestly.

Myth 2 – All flirting is okay.
You may think it’s always okay to flirt, but that may be because you don’t understand what inappropriate flirting feels like to a guy. Letting a boy know that you are interested in a more meaningful relationship with him is one thing, but inappropriate flirting, which can also be called “teasing” or “seduction,” is another. Should you emotionally or physically stir up a guy if you have no intention of pursuing a relationship with him? Is it loving to tease someone with your attentions and affections if you have no desire to fulfill any hopes you may arouse in him? In our opinion, showing a sincere love and respect for others allows no room for acting as if you are interested in being sexual with a guy when, in fact, you are not.

Myth 3 – I need to have a boyfriend to feel as if I am “somebody.”
Having a boyfriend will solve all my problems. Newsflash. If you think you need a boyfriend, you are not ready for a boyfriend. Contrary to the movie scenes you may have witnessed where one character declares to the other, “You complete me!” no human being can ever complete another. Only God can “complete” you. Yet many young women try with all their power to find that special someone who will make them feel as if life is really worth living (as if living as a satisfied single person isn’t possible).

If either of the above statements describes you, we have some advice for you. Do yourself a favor and get a life! Not the fairy-tale life you are dreaming of where you meet a wonderful guy, fall in love, and live happily ever after in la-la land. You need to live in reality and recognize who God made you to be, and then do your best at being that person.

Myth 4 – Guys want basically the same thing from dating relationships that girls want.
Just in case you didn’t catch it before, let us say this loud and clear: Guys are motivated by an entirely different set of factors than girls are. Most of the time guys give love to get sex, but girls give sex to get love. Do you see what a dangerous combination this can be? We’re not saying that guys are pigs who only want sex. Many know their own vulnerabilities well enough to know better than to take a young woman behind closed doors if they aren’t able to control their sexual desires. But we are saying that God wired guys differently. They are built for visual stimulation. Their ultimate goal is physical intimacy. It’s just how they are made. It’s not that they don’t value or want emotional bonding; many do. But it isn’t their ultimate goal.

Myth 5 – My love will save him.
I can change him. Don’t make the mistake of dating a guy who needs some major repair work before you could consider him marriage material. Many young women are drawn to a guy’s wild, rebellious side and then set out on a mission to mold him into the kind of man they really want him to be. We hate to break it to you, but you can’t change or save anyone. Only God is in the business of doing that successfully. The research ahs already been done. A woman’s love does not change a broken man’s behavior. It only validates it. Her love says to him, “You are okay the way you are!”

Myth 6 – I feel so sexually tempted, I must already be guilty, so why bother resisting?

Satan loves to use false guilt, convincing us to cross the line between temptation and sin with thoughts like these:

You can’t deny that you want him! You may as well go after him!
You’ve already gone this far, what’s one step further?
He already knows how you really are, so there’s no use pretending to be a goody two-shoes!
Satan uses thoughts like these to cause you to feel guilty, but your guilt is false guilt because you have not yet acted on your thoughts. You have been tempted to sin, but you have not yet sinned.

When Jesus taught that thinking upon sexual things is just as sinful as doing them (see Matthew 5:27-28), He was referring to entertaining sexual thoughts over and over or intentionally fantasizing about someone in sexual ways. There are thoughts that pop into our minds simply because we are human, but we don’t have to entertain them or focus on them. We can distract ourselves and resist these thoughts, just as we can resist any temptation.

Myth 7 – There’s no one who would really understand my struggle.
We believe this myth exists because, fearing judgment, girls usually don’t openly discuss their sex lives with other females. Unfortunately, these fears are often confirmed very early in childhood. For instance, one girl tells a friend about her secret crush on a boy in their class. The friend inevitably whispers the secret to two other friends, or worse, tells the boy all about the girl’s confession. If you went through experiences like these, you may have learned to guard your deepest, darkest secrets from other females.

Some girls grow up with guys as their best friends because they feel so strongly that other girls simply cannot be trusted. Many also find out the hard way that confiding in guys can be more dangerous than confiding in a girlfriend. All a girl can do is betray your confidence. A guy can take advantage of your vulnerability and make you his next sexual target if you aren’t standing firm in your convictions.

It’s our hope that if you know how common these issues are to young women, you won’t hesitate to discuss your own sexual struggles with a trusted adult or a mature Christian girlfriend. We believed 99.9 percent of all women face sexual temptations in varying degrees.

Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13: No temptation has seized you except what is common to [woman]. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
